New Kindle Fire HD vs Nexus 7: Who will win the war of 2013 mini-tablet?

It's been almost a year since the Kindle Fire HD was released, and as surely as autumn follows summer, Amazon is preparing to launch an updated line of tablets to compete with younger Nexus 7 and iPad Mini ( course) with Retina display. According to "reliable sources", Amazon will launch a new version of the 7 - and 8.9-inch Kindle Fire Kindle Fire HD and the entry-level in September - and the source of confidence is to believe, the Kindle Fire come HDs with impressive hardware specs actually. With the new Nexus 7 already released, and received excellent reviews in general, how the new Kindle Fire HD battery?

Kindle Fire 2 HDAccording to a source who spoke with BGR, both 7 - and 8.9-inch tablet Kindle Fire HD and the entry-level Kindle Fire will receive major repairs in terms of appearance, equipment and software.

Kindle Fire HD 7, edge

Existing Kindle Fire HD 7. This rounded edge appears more "chiseled".All three tablets will lose its rounded edges and bevels and take a look more "chiseled", apparently making them more comfortable. The new tablets will be lighter, too, although we do not have exact figures. In terms of hardware, the Fire 7 inch HD screen has a 1920 × 1200, 2 GB of RAM and a quad-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC 800 (2 GHz at all, apparently). There is a front-facing camera (but no rear camera), WiFi (probably until 802.11n), and several storage (16/32/64 GB) and cell options. The screen of 8.9 inch Fire HD will have a 2560 × 1600 and a camera looking back, but also seem identical characteristics. On the software side, the two tablets are apparently running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with internal Amazon usual customizations. Android 4.3 is still almost new, so almost certainly Android 4.2.2 or 4.2.3 when HD Fire tablet launches in September.Regarding the price, Amazon seeks to match their current line ($ 200 for the 16GB model 7-inch, $ 270 for the 8.9-inch). With Google Nexus 7 bump in price from $ 200 to $ 230 would not be surprised if Amazon follows suit - or, conversely, Amazon could also try to push the advantage.Kindle Fire 3The Kindle Fire 3

will receive its own set of hardware and software upgrades. Screen jump to 1280 × 800 (up to 1024 × 600), and inherit the SoC used in the current generation of Kindle Fire HD 8.9 (OMAP 4470, SGX544 graphics). 1 GB RAM will remain, and probably even the price, $ 160.These might seem relatively small improvements, but it is still almost double the pixel density and the CPU / GPU. It does not correspond to the Nexus 7 or iPad Mini, but $ 160 is not intended to compete - that is designed to pick up all the consumers who want to get into the thing of the tablet while spending less money possible. (Given the Kindle Fire is the best selling product of Amazon, there seems to be a lot of people like that.)

Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 vs. Google Nexus 7

Kindle Fire HD vs Nexus 7Like last year, the big question is, if you buy the Nexus 7 or Kindle Fire HD? And, like last year, is a toss-up. If these specifications are found to be true, then the 7-inch Kindle Fire HD and Nexus 7 have almost identical hardware specifications with the camera to look back and the only real software differentiation. If Amazon keeps the 7 inch HD $ 200, then it would make a big difference. Really, not much, unless you feel very strongly about the software (version Amazon Android is actually very different from the experience of values, but it is not necessarily a bad thing). The 8.9-inch Kindle Fire HD, of course, will not have much in the way of competition (except the iPad Mini, I suppose, but it's a different price range) - and the Kindle Fire, a $ 160, continue to clean-up. I wonder where in this price range start area Mini, too.If all goes as planned, the new Kindle Fire is expected to be announced sometime in September, and released shortly after. Amazon tends to launch one or two new products every year, too, so do not be surprised if CEO Jeff Bezos also has a product announcement of surprise up his sleeve. An Android-based game or set-top box console, perhaps?
